Party Alerts and a Weekly Email: Never Miss an Event Again

Tips · · 2 min read

Dozens of new events go up on ticketing sites every day, and the party you were waiting for can sell out before you even see it. Instead of checking every day, save what you're looking for once and let SPOTX tell you.

Pick what you like on the home page: techno in Tel Aviv at the weekend, jazz in Haifa, everything with free entry, or one artist. Press "Save as alert", and from then on every new event that matches shows in the bell at the top of the site and in the "For you" row on the home page. An alert finds exactly what the same filters show on the site, so there are no surprises.

You can also save an alert from the "Where to?" questions on the home page, and every event page has a button for an alert on its artist.

A bell on an event

Saw a party and haven't decided yet? Tap the bell on the card and it goes to "Saved". If you don't have an account yet, a short sign-in with Google opens, and the event is saved as soon as you're back. Your saved events wait for you on every device and go into the weekly email.

A weekly email

Every Thursday morning, ahead of the weekend, one email: your saved events for the coming week, what's new for your alerts, and what's on this weekend with free entry. Each event comes with a picture, time, place, weather and price. It only goes to people who asked for it on their account page, and one click stops it.

No sign-up required

The whole site is open without signing up, and that won't change. An account is just an extra: one click with Google, no new password, and you can delete it any time. What is stored and why is in the privacy policy.

What's on this weekend

Want to keep it? Open this weekend's events, pick a genre or area, and press "Save as alert". It's all on your account: My alerts.

FAQ

Do I have to sign up to use the site?

No. Every event, the search, the map and the ticket links are open to everyone without signing up. A Google account is optional and only adds alerts, saved events on every device and email updates.

How do I create a party alert?

Pick filters on the home page (genre, area, when, free entry) or search for an artist, and press "Save as alert". When a new matching event comes up, it shows in the bell and in the "For you" row.

When does the weekly email arrive?

Every Thursday at 10:00, only to people who ticked it on their account page. You can stop it any time with the link in every email.

Can I get an email as soon as an event comes up?

Yes. On the alerts page, tick "Email me as soon as a matching event comes up" next to an alert. You get at most one email an hour, with all the new events together.
